Global Tech Weekend, the largest decentralized tech movement across the Caucasus and Central Asia, officially kicked off GTWT 2026 with an exclusive event held on December 5, 2025.
Following its record‑breaking debut in Tbilisi in 2025 – which brought together over 10,000 attendees, 120 speakers, 130 sponsors, and more than 70 investors from 17 countries – GTW now enters its next chapter with a fully decentralized model continuing across Tashkent (April 24–25, 2026), Tbilisi (June 19–21, 2026), and Baku (October 2026).
A Celebration of Innovation and Partnership
The official GTWT 2026 Launch Event took place on December 5 at 20:00 at Noble Savage, gathering founders, investors, corporate innovation leaders, and ecosystem builders.
The event welcomed GTWT partners, sponsors, and prospective collaborators from technology, creative industries, media, marketing, fashion, tourism, logistics, banking, gaming, and more.

The evening featured:
- A recap of GTWT 2025’s major milestones and outcomes
- GTW 2026 vision and future roadmap
Exclusive project presentations, including:
- Tech To Me – GTWT x The Diary, in partnership with Nino Eliava, founder/creative director of More Is Love – a show premiering in January 2026
- GTW Society – an exclusive membership club introduced during the presentation
The Significance of the Event
The GTW Tbilisi 2026 Launch was more than an event – it was a gathering of the people shaping the future of regional innovation. Attendees reflected on the movement’s achievements and received an early look at the 2026 Trilogy, which will unite more than 30,000 participants and over 200 side events across Tashkent, Tbilisi, and Baku.
A Three-Day Tech Festival in Tbilisi
GTWT 2026 will follow its traditional three-day decentralized format. From June 19-21, the technology festival will take place across Tbilisi. The first day will feature over 80 side events, the main Flagship event will be held on June 20 at Factory Tbilisi, and the third day will again be dedicated to side events and cultural activities.
