Preliminary estimates of GEOSTAT states, that in April 2024, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the growth of real gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 11.8 percent, and the average rate of the first four months of 2024 was 9.0 percent.
In April 2024, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, there was a downward trend in the energy sector, while the following sectors made a significant contribution to growth: processing industry, construction, information and communication, transport, trade, professional, scientific and technical activities.
