As reported by the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in January-February 2022, the volume of exports of goods from Georgia (excluding undeclared exports) amounted to $760.4 million, which is 54.5% higher than the same period last year.
The report shows that in January-February 2022, the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 80.8%. The top partners were China ($90.0 million), Bulgaria ($83.7 million) and Russia ($80.2 million).
In January-February 2022 copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling $156.3 million, or 28.1% of total exports.
The exports of ferroalloys totaled $100.5 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 18.1%. The exports of nitrogenous fertilizers occupied the third place standing at $58.2 million and constituting 10.5% of the total exports.
