The Pension Fund of Georgia has released its statistical overview as of December 31, 2025, showing continued growth in both participation and assets under management.

The fund stated that the number of individuals enrolled in the mandatory pension scheme has reached approximately 1.706 million participants. By the end of 2025, a total of 26,820 people had begun receiving accumulated pension benefits.

Pension payouts made to beneficiaries amounted to GEL 124 million, reflecting the gradual maturation of the funded pension system. At the same time, the Pension Fund’s total assets exceeded GEL 8.2 billion by the end of December.

The Fund also reported strong investment performance, with cumulative generated returns surpassing GEL 2.2 billion since the launch of the scheme. These figures shows the growing financial scale of Georgia’s pension system and its increasing role in long-term savings and capital accumulation.
