Georgian Railways has announced the resumption of several passenger train services connecting Tbilisi with western regions of the country, effective January 9.
The company stated that rail traffic will be restored on the Tbilisi–Zugdidi–Tbilisi, Tbilisi–Poti–Tbilisi and Tbilisi–Ozurgeti–Tbilisi routes. These services had previously been suspended and their reinstatement is expected to improve travel connectivity between the capital and western Georgia.
Georgian Railways also confirmed that passengers who purchased tickets for the canceled services will receive a full refund.
