The Embassy noted that “the EUMM in Georgia is a prime example of how EU civilian CSDP missions can help to provide stability, promote security, and build confidence in the countries where they are active. By visiting Georgia, The Crown Princess also wishes to highlight the long-standing friendship and partnership between our countries and peoples.”
The visit is being carried out during the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Together with the President of Georgia, the EU Monitoring Mission is the host of the visit of the Crown Princess to Georgia.
