The Georgian National Tourism Administration held a training course “The role of social media in tourism” for 200 representatives of the tourism sector. 2-day course was organized in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Telavi, Borjomi, Gori, Kutaisi and Ambrolauri. Guides, tour operators and representatives of accommodation facilities participated in the trainings.
Short-term training courses are conducted by the Georgian National Tourism Administration in order to promote the tourism industry, completely free of charge, throughout the country. The purpose of holding trainings is to improve the knowledge and skills of employees in the industry.
