At the international tourism exhibition ITB Berlin 2024 in Berlin, the head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Maia Omiadze, met with representatives of influential media platforms and companies.

In order to promote Georgia on the international tourist markets and plan marketing campaigns, the representatives of the Georgian National Tourism Administration held negotiations with the heads of National Geographic, Bloomberg, Wanderlust and the organizers of the international culinary festival Nat Geo Food Fest. Negotiations were held with representatives of China Ready, one of the largest marketing companies in China.

“I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet the representatives of the Georgian National Tourism Administration at the stand of Georgia. A very important negotiation was held. Visa-free travel between Georgia and China has started, which is very gratifying, we will help the Georgian National Tourism Administration to make Georgia’s tourist destination more recognizable in China and more Chinese tourists to visit Georgia,” said Marcus Li, Managing Director of China Travel Company.

39 state organizations and private companies are represented together with the Georgian National Tourism Administration at the world’s largest tourist exhibition.

Within the framework of ITB Berlin 2024, representatives of the private sector have the opportunity to establish relations with international tourism companies and find new business partners.

More than 1,300 tourism companies and organizations from 132 countries are participating in ITB Berlin 2024, and more than 1,250 sales companies are represented at the exhibition.

With this slogan “Boundless Hospitality”, in 2023, Georgia presented itself as the host country at the Berlin International Tourism Exhibition. The Georgian stand was the main stand of the exhibition, where thousands of visitors got to know the tourist destinations and culture of Georgia.
