Six companies from Georgia are participating in Foodex Japan 2026, one of the largest food industry trade shows in Asia. The event is taking place in Tokyo and brings together thousands of producers and industry representatives from around the world.
Georgia’s participation is organized by the Rural Development Agency of Georgia with the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. During the exhibition, the Georgian pavilion was visited by Yuhei Yamashita. The delegation was hosted by Zurab Gozalishvili together with Teimuraz Lezhava.
Gozalishvili stated that participation in international exhibitions plays an important role in strengthening Georgia’s agricultural export potential and expanding access to new markets. He noted that the Rural Development Agency is presenting the Georgian pavilion at its third international exhibition this year, while continuing to develop financial support mechanisms to increase the production and competitiveness of high-quality Georgian agricultural products.
Products presented at the Georgian pavilion were produced by six companies:

- Hobi
- Geonatural
- Agroline
- Achinebuli
- Margabeli Water
The companies are showcasing a range of agricultural products, including walnuts, honey, bottled water and fruit juices.
The 2026 edition of the event features around 3,000 companies from more than 70 countries, providing a major platform for food producers to present products, establish partnerships and expand export opportunities.
