The Georgian National Tourism Administration reported an impressive number of international tourist visits in 2024, a total of 5,091,732 with a 9% increase from last year.
The increase in tourism was especially noticeable in the fourth quarter, with 1,098,890 individuals visiting between October and December, 8.4% and 0.8% growth compared to 2023 and 2019, respectively.
The countries from which the majority of tourists originated is as follows:
- Turkey: 1,336,834 visits
- Israel: 310,982 visits
- Kazakhstan: 178,930 visits
- India: 124,335 visits
- China: 88,583 visits
- United States: 51,728 visits
- France: 28,302 visits
