Georgia Reports 3731 New Cases, 72 Deaths

COVID: New Cases & Fatalities Up, President Urges Mandatory Vaccination for Risk Groups

3731 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 72 people have died, 4295 people have recovered.

A total of 853,833 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 796,453 have recovered and 12,191 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

1,491 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 172, Imereti – 646, Kvemo Kartli – 196, Shida Kartli – 327, Guria – 104, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 328, Kakheti – 199, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 86, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 146 , Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 36.

2,197,838 people have been fully vaccinated so far.
