Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 110 New Cases, 4964 Tests Performed

Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 110 New Cases, 4964 Tests Performed
In the last 24 hours, 4,964 tests were conducted across the country, including 2,930 antigen tests and 2,034 PCR tests.
 
The tests revealed 110 newly confirmed cases of the virus in the last 24 hours, and the total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 247,915.
 
In the last 24 hours, 1,643 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 234,636.
 
There have been 25 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
 
A total of 2,958 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
 
Out of 110 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 72 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 13, Imereti – 5, Kvemo Kartli – 4, Shida Kartli – 0, Guria – 5, Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti – 4, Kakheti – 5, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 0, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 2, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 0.
 
Presently, 460 people are placed in quarantine spaces, while 22 714 people are in self-isolation.
