The National Food Agency has begun its annual market survey for laboratory testing to detect levels of pesticide residues in animal feed.
A total of 30 feed samples will go through 90 analyses across three primary indicators. As the agency disclosed, the purpose of the procurement is “laboratory testing of plant and animal feed for pesticide residues.”
This routine annual survey aims to monitor and control pesticide levels in animal nutrition, maintaining safety across the food supply chain.
The goal of testing must be conducted in an accredited laboratory utilizing certified methods to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
