Former Prime Minister, Chairman of ‘For Georgia’ party Giorgi Gakharia, thanked the youth for yesterday’s demonstration. He also responded to Georgian Dream’s promise to withdraw the Russian draft law.
“This is not a final victory. This is the beginning of victory. Georgia’s place is in Europe! The initiation and withdrawal of this law showed everyone that today the country is governed by one man’s fears and perceptions.
“The time has come for everyone, first of all the public sector, to make a choice – do you serve one person or do you serve the country?
“Georgia is Europe – we need to get the status of candidate for the European Union, and strength is only found in unity!” – he wrote.
Gakharia was present at the March 8 demonstration.
