Fuel prices in Georgia have increased significantly over the past three days, rising by 6 to 20 tetri since March 31, with prices at some gas stations reaching as high as 4 GEL per liter.
Local reports indicate that the upward trend on international markets began to affect Georgia around March 9. Since then, fuel prices at major branded stations have increased in several stages, with total rises ranging from 27 to 84 tetri depending on the type of fuel.
Data comparing current prices with those from March 7 show notable increases across all major fuel providers.
At Gulf, premium gasoline (G-Force Super) has reached 3.99 GEL, up from 3.53 GEL, while diesel prices have seen the sharpest increases, with Euro diesel rising by up to 84 tetri.
At Wissol, prices have also climbed steadily, with eco super now at 3.92 GEL and diesel prices increasing by up to 59 tetri.
At Socar, nano super gasoline has risen to 3.82 GEL, while diesel prices have increased by as much as 76 tetri.
Rompetrol stations report similar trends, with diesel prices up by around 70 tetri and premium gasoline rising to 3.92 GEL.
Meanwhile, at Portal stations, prices remain comparatively lower, though increases are still significant, with diesel rising by up to 80 tetri and regular gasoline nearing 3 GEL.
The data reflects a consistent upward trajectory in fuel prices across the country, driven by international market dynamics.
