Participants of the “Freedom March” gathered in Freedom Square. Opponents of the “Transparency of Foreign Influence” law gathered in several locations in Tbilisi and joined those gathered in Freedom Square, from where they marched to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As the participants of the march say, “The rally with the Ministry of Internal Affairs is important because in recent weeks the Ministry has not distinguished itself by serving the law and protecting the citizens of Georgia”, so their goal is to remind the Ministry of Internal Affairs that it is a responsible state body, so they should serve Georgia.
Civil organizations, political parties, students and citizens have been protesting the “Foreign Influence Transparency” law for several weeks.
