According to GEOSTAT data, in 2023, the foreign trade turnover of goods in Georgia (without undeclared trade) amounted to 21,529 billion USD, which is 12.5% more than the previous year. From this, 6,090 billion USD come from exports (9.1% growth), and 15,438 billion USD from imports (14.0% growth).
In the reporting period, the list of the largest exporting countries looks like this: Azerbaijan – 862 million USD, Armenia – 787 million USD, Kazakhstan – 703 million USD, Kyrgyzstan – 696 million USD, and Russia – 657 million USD.
In terms of imports, Turkey is the largest trade partner with 2.6 billion USD; Next is the USA with 1.95 billion USD, Russia with 1.74 billion USD, China with 1.33 billion USD and Germany with 948 million USD.
