In 2023, compared to the previous year, the amount entered into the budget in the form of gaming business fees has increased by almost 23.4%.
During 2022, the amount of gaming business fees amounted to 114,392,795 GEL. As for 2023, the amount of it last year was 141,171,147 GEL.
It is also worth noting that from March 1, 2022, in accordance with the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, the new regulations of the gaming business came into force. As a result, from March 1, 2022 until today, 1,457,526 persons have been included in the list of prohibited persons in the database of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
