Today, on July 26, an event was held for the participants of the “Cinema in Schools” project in the village of Ergneti near the occupation line, reports the Georgian National Film Center.
During the event, film students attended a short film program and played a variety of film games.
The event was joined by adults from Khurvaleti and Mereti.
On July 19, the “Summer Film School” started in the mountainous villages near the Georgian occupation line, organized by the National Film Center.
For two weeks, within the framework of the project, film screenings-discussions, film lessons, and filmmaking are planned.
Summer Film School was first implemented in 2015. The aim of the project is to revive the cultural-educational life in the regions of Georgia and to strengthen the local cultural sector.
Summer Film School is part of the project “Cinema at School,” which is being implemented for the eighth year.
