Energo-Pro Georgia is in emergency mode as teams work to restore electricity in storm-hit areas of Western Georgia. Additional electricians nationwide are assisting local crews.
The most severe cases are recorded in Guria, Kobuleti, Khoni, Vani, Martvili, and Abasha, where multiple villages are out of power.
“Fallen trees from heavy snowfall have damaged power lines, impacting other energy infrastructure as well,” the company stated. “In some areas, even reaching the damaged sites is impossible, as special equipment cannot access them, and in certain cases, neither can our teams on foot.”
Despite the challenges, the company highlighted that restoration efforts are ongoing. “We mobilized the necessary equipment and workforce immediately after the disaster struck. Our teams are working relentlessly to restore power to all affected areas as quickly as possible.”
