Emmy-awarded production company Light Film International opening office in Georgia

Founded in 2001 by Igor Mijoljevic and Hrvoje Boljkovac, Light Film International is an award-winning production company specialized in delivery of high-quality film and video.

Based in Zagreb, Croatia, Light Film has offices in Slovenia, Hungary and Serbia and opening office in Georgia represents next step in growth of the company.

With highly experienced team of producers, Light film can provide top notch services matching the most demanding client’s needs.

Light Film’s office in Georgia will be run by Sandro Margvelashvili and Hrvoje Boljkovac.

Light Film services include casting, location scouting and management, production budgeting and planning, crew hiring, permitting and all other actions needed for successful project. Furthermore, through it’s animation studio www.visualbountyhunters.com Light Film offers various levels of animation and VFX services, from simple animated TVC’s to high end animated game trailers.

The company’s representative Sandro Margvelashvili, who is returning from emigration with his family because of Film in Georgia, tells about how the idea was born and the importance of popularization of Georgia’s potential internationally.

“We moved to Croatia with my family in August, I am a cameraman by profession, it is always interesting for me to discover and photograph new places. My wife and I worked together on different projects and it was an interesting experience to start all over again in another country. As soon as we arrived in Croatia, we met the LFI Emmy-winning producer Hrvoje, we started shooting for their official Instagram page, which includes filming different locations, cities or islands in Croatia… We talked a lot about Georgia, because the potential that exists in our country is important to be in the focus of international producers. In the end, they themselves proposed to make video content of the same content — Film in Georgia, which will give them the opportunity to include our country in the offer. Accordingly, this will increase the involvement of Georgian directors and actors in the international market. I am glad that production in Georgia is already considered in the LFI offer,” Sandro noted.
