Tbilisi City Court has fined Elene Khoshtaria, one of the leaders of the “Coalition for Change,” 5,000 GEL in connection with a protest held near the Parliament on March 28.
Judge Zviad Tsetskava found Khoshtaria administratively liable for petty hooliganism and disobedience to a lawful police order, as outlined under Articles 166 and 173 of the Administrative Offenses Code. The Ministry of Internal Affairs had requested administrative detention, but the court opted for a monetary penalty instead.
Khoshtaria did not attend the court hearing.
