From June 1, the restriction on operation on weekends for eateries will be lifted.
Giorgi Gibradze, Chief of the Operational Staff of the Interagency Coordination Council, stated that the food facilities will be able to host guests even indoors on weekends.
However, he added, restrictions on social activities remain in force.
“We emphasize that the restriction on holding social events related to weddings, funerals, banquets or other remains in force,” Gibradze said.
In addition, by the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, Georgia will open its land borders from June 1.
Earlier, eateries across the country have been allowed to receive guests in open spaces on weekends.
