The Committee discussed with the II reading and approved the Draft Law on Museums, aiming at the establishment of a museum of a new type – a military museum.
As the reporter and one of the initiators, Vladimir Chachibaia notes, it is expedient to extract the record on the National Academy of Sciences from the Draft since unlike the reality of the moment of the adoption of the Law, the Academy has no museums under subordination at present.
The Committee approved the Draft authored by Vladimir Chachibaia, Irakli Beraia, Eliso Bolkvadze, Alexander Tabatadze, Giorgi Khelashvili, Resan Kontselidze and Alexander Elisashvili.
The Committee also specified the composition of the Scientific-Advisory Council.
