The Tbilisi Court of Appeal is currently reviewing lawsuits over the dismissed electronic voting results in the Tetritskaro and Tsalka districts, questioning the decision made by Judge Vladimer Khuchua that invalidated the results from the mentioned polling stations.
The lawsuit consists of a joint case prepared by the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) and the election observing group My Vote, which is set to be examined by a panel of judges.
The hearing involved an experiment, with cameras placed three meters away from the voting machines, to determine whether ballot marks would be discernible. The experiment’s outcome is anticipated to contribute significantly to the court’s eventual ruling.
