Georgia reported 2,039 coronavirus cases, 2,192 recoveries, and 56 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 716 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 321 cases, and the Kakheti region with 263 cases.
A total of 31 532 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country.
The daily test-positivity rate now stands at 6, 47 %, while it was 7, 31 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 591,766 among them, 556 810 people recovered and 8 446 died.
