The First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili announced that the Ministry is collaborating with international consulting firms on the Anaklia Port project. The construction company is set to be chosen on July 26.
“Regarding the construction work, we have conducted negotiations with the Big Four in a competitive environment, and we have selected the most experienced company in marine construction. We expect to complete this process tomorrow. Engineering consultants were also involved in evaluating the proposals submitted by the companies. We will announce the construction partner tomorrow and provide the public with relevant information,” Davitashvili said.
