With the support of the Innovation and Technology Agency of Georgia, Shida Kartli will host ConstrucThon 2.0 on December 2-3 in the Kaspi Technopark. This event, spanning 36 hours, is the largest hackathon in the construction sector. Participants will focus on startup ideas and address challenges in various directions, including innovations in building materials, smart home systems, sustainable solutions in construction, safety systems, construction services, monitoring systems, and developments in architecture.
Citizens of Georgia aged 16 and above, including students, engineers, programmers, architects, designers, and those interested in construction, can participate. The hackathon will conclude with a demo day, where the winning team will be awarded a 5000 GEL grant from GITA for idea implementation.
Monolith Group, a construction company, is a project partner, contributing a prize fund of 5000 GEL. The selected team may also have collaboration opportunities with the Monolith group for product development and implementation.
The hackathon, organized by the “Innovative Education Fund,” provides participants with transportation, day and night meals, and access to Technopark and Fablab equipment even during the night.
