A verbal confrontation took place between Nika Melia, the chairman of the National Movement, and Beka Davituliani and Giorgi Amilakhvari, representatives of the Georgian Dream, at Vazisubani 62nd polling station.
The confrontation started after power went out and Nika Melia arrived at the station, claiming that the supporters of the ruling party cut off the electricity on purpose.
Following the incident at the 62nd polling station in Vazisubani, Melia was speaking to the media when a citizen hit him from behind. This was followed by a physical confrontation.
Law enforcers arrested one person.
Police officers are mobilized on the spot.
