The Government of Georgia has decided, the champions and prize-winners of the Olympic and Paralympic games, the winners of world and European championships, including those with disabilities, can be admitted to the University of Sports without exams, the Ministry of Education and Science reports.
This decision will also apply to the winners and prize-winners of Tokyo 2020.
Those wishing to continue their studies should apply to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and enclose the relevant documents: copy of ID card, certificate, notarized copy of the winning document translated into Georgian and written consent of the Head of the Georgian State Teaching University of Physical Education and Sports, within the total number of students on the possibility of admitting a person to a vacant position.
