According to the CEC, as of 17:00, 825,129 voters across the country had cast their votes, which is 39.5% of the total number.
The highest activity is being recorded in Racha-Lechkhumi – 52.8%, and the lowest rate in Mtskheta Mtianeti – 33.9%.
In the capital, by 17:00, 387,771 voters had cast their votes, which is 38.7% of its population.
Based on the districts, the highest activity is in Didube – 43.5%, and the lowest in Isani – 34.3%.
The vote counting procedures will start today at 20:00 after the voting process is over.
“Once the precinct summary protocols are compiled, they will be submitted to the CEC by the relevant district election commissions as soon as possible and will be uploaded on the special website results.cec.gov.ge as soon as they are received. Anyone will be able to observe the process of summarizing the preliminary election results online. The broadcast will be done using 360-degree technology on the CEC Facebook, Youtube and website,” said CEC spokeswoman Natia Ioseliani.
