According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), only 6 ofthe 27 parties registered for the 26 October parliamentary elections have signed the code of conduct for political parties. CEC proposed this code to guarantee that all the participating parties adhere to the internationally accepted norms during elections.
The code, drafted per recognized international practices and similar to one used in the 2024 European Parliament elections, was sent to the participating parties before finalization.
The code is available on the CEC’s website for the public to see.
