A new residential building meeting modern standards is being constructed in Borjomi to house 150 internally displaced families. The construction budget amounts to 15,374,192 GEL.
The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs announced that the project also includes the development of external infrastructure. At this stage, eight floors of the ten-story building have already been completed, and construction is actively ongoing.
“The fully renovated apartments will be handed over to displaced families who have been living in inadequate conditions in Borjomi for years. To ensure dignified housing for IDP families, similar residential complexes are being built not only in Borjomi but also in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, and Zugdidi,” the Ministry stated.
