Archi Opens Its First Branded Hotel – ibis Tbilisi City

Archi, Georgia’s leading development company, has officially opened a four-star hotel, ibis Tbilisi City, in the Ortachala district of Tbilisi. ibis is part of Accor, a global leader in high-quality and affordable hotels, which currently operates 12 hotels across Georgia.

Notably, Accor has recognized ibis Tbilisi City as a next-generation hotel, naming it the most modern and prestigious project among its ibis-branded hotels. Designed with a focus on functionality, comfort, and aesthetics, the hotel features meticulously curated interior details and a harmonious color palette, creating an ambiance of refined elegance.

ibis Tbilisi City marks the first joint project between Archi and Accor, with an investment of 45 million GEL, and is managed by Archi Hospitality, a subsidiary of Archi holding. Beyond this project, the leading development company is also working on branded hotels, including Le Meridien Sioni Lake Resort & Spa by Archi in Sioni, which has received an investment of 200 million GEL.

“ibis is a globally renowned international brand. Together with Accor, which owns the ibis brand, we have launched our first project in Tbilisi. This project involved an investment of 45 million GEL and has already created over 50 jobs. This is our first step in the hotel industry, and we are planning to develop more international brand hotels, including Le Meridien at Sioni Lake, Mövenpick in Kobuleti, and other brands, which we will announce in the future. Archi is committed to contributing to the growth of Georgian tourism and the hospitality sector.” – Ilia Tsulaia, Founder of Archi.

ibis Tbilisi City is located just 20 minutes from Tbilisi International Airport and offers guests European-standard service. Its historical location, modern infrastructure, comfortable rooms, multifunctional meeting spaces, diverse cuisine, and a well-equipped gym make it an ideal destination for both business and leisure travelers.

“Opening this hotel is extremely important for our group, as this is our 13th hotel in Tbilisi. As the number one brand on the market, we cover almost all segments – from luxury to mid-range. I believe that ibis Tbilisi City is a fantastic addition to the Georgian market, offering a new type of hotel that is perfect not only for leisure but also for corporate and business meetings.” – Aron Libinson, Vice President of Operations for Accor in Georgia and CIS countries.

ibis Tbilisi City features 156 modern and comfortable rooms, categorized as Premium, Superior, Double, Twin, and Accessible. The hotel also includes four spacious conference rooms, capable of hosting up to 100 guests, making it an excellent venue for meetings and special events. Guests can enjoy delicious cuisine at the bar-restaurant MARILI, while a fully equipped fitness center ensures they can maintain a healthy lifestyle.

“I am pleased to see such investments taking place. This hotel is designed for 156 rooms, with 50 permanent jobs created. From an economic development perspective, such projects are crucial, and I am delighted that new jobs are being created and tourism is being significantly developed.” – Kakha Kaladze, Mayor of Tbilisi.

With the addition of ibis Tbilisi City, Archi further enriches its diverse portfolio, which already includes local and international hotels, apart-hotels, and numerous development projects across Tbilisi, Batumi, and Georgia’s mountain resorts.
