The development of the Ambassadori Island Batumi project is proceeding rapidly, offering novel investment opportunities for the country and the region. The company is fulfilling its obligations to the state five years ahead of schedule, and to date, more than a quarter of the entire project area has been developed.
According to the Government of Georgia’s decree, which is in accordance with the construction agreement, ownership of the 194,457-square-meter land plot, created by the company in the sea, has transferred to Ambassadori Island Batumi. Within the framework of the existing investment obligations, 49% of the territory on the two peninsulas and the island will be allocated to publicly accessible recreational zones, including forest parks, hiking trails, sports fields, and entertainment and recreation spaces. The project will also include the construction of educational and healthcare institutions, hotels, apartments, villas, helipads, and a yacht club.
The project, which is of historical significance, aims to create two artificial peninsulas and one artificial island in the sea. It will be formed in full compliance with the principles of sustainable development and smart cities. In addition, it will set new standards for urban development in the region.
The island project is being developed by the Ambassadori Group in collaboration with international companies, including Yüksel Proje, an architectural and engineering company, and Arup, a British company involved in the planning of numerous cities worldwide.
