Initially, on November 19, due to heavy snow, movement was restricted only to trucks, and then it was prohibited for all types of transport. On November 22, the Department of Highways of Georgia reported on the restoration of traffic for light vehicles.
According to the updated information of the agency, the movement of trailer and semi-trailer vehicles has been restored on the Gudauri-Kobi section, and the movement will be carried out under the direct supervision of the patrol police.
