Citizens gathered near the Philharmonic marched to the election headquarters of Kakha Kaladze, the Georgian Dream mayoral candidate.
Protesters dismantled metal barriers placed around the building while chanting “Russians, Russians!” Tensions rose after they spotted Georgian Dream supporters inside the headquarters and called on them to come outside.
Police units have been mobilized at the scene.
