The 25th Tbilisi International Film Festival, supported by TBC Concept, Mastercard, and a few international organizations, opens on December 1 at Amirani Cinema, with the recent Georgian film Holy Electricity by Tato Kotetishvili.
The competition program will cover 5 feature and 15 short films in the fiction category and showcase 6 feature-length and 9 short documentaries. An international jury panel will select winners consisting of experts from Turkey, Hungary, and Switzerland. Feature documentaries particularly will be picked by professionals from Germany, France, and Lithuania
Alongside competitive sections, the festival will feature special events like the European Forum, the Academy of European Cinema, and the Student Film Section.
The festival will conclude with the traditional award ceremony celebrating the best films across multiple categories.
