Swissôtel brand enters Georgia with flagship hotel in Tbilisi

Accor, a world leading hospitality group, today announces the opening of Swissôtel Tbilisi, which marks the debut of the premium brand in Georgia and the South Caucasus region. Located in the heart of Tbilisi close to the renowned Rustaveli Avenue and a stone’s throw from the famous Dry Bridge and its authentic flea market, the new flagship hotel is surrounded by a variety of sought-after attractions, including theatres, museums, as well as entertainment and shopping districts.

Swissôtel Tbilisi combines contemporary interiors, high-quality amenities, and the world-class service of the Swissôtel brand, which stands for quality, efficiency and care. The new opening adds to a growing portfolio of Accor hotels in Georgia, now including eight hotels in the country.

“With an extensive infrastructure, rich culture and diverse gastronomic experiences, Georgia is a thriving destination with huge potential for the hospitality industry. The opening of Swissôtel Tbilisi marks another important step in our continued expansion into this vibrant market. This new outstanding hotel combines contemporary design with the tradition of Swiss hospitality, which makes it the perfect gateway for travellers looking to experience Tbilisi from the heart of the city,” said Alexis Delaroff, Chief Operating Officer of Accor New East Europe.

“Swissôtel Tbilisi represents an exceptional project, and we are confident that it will bring a unique hotel experience to the city and its community. We are looking forward to extending a warm and memorable welcome to our guests, ensuring an unforgettable stay in Tbilisi and treating its citizens with unique culinary experiences,” commented Erdogan Sahin, Cluster General Manager of Mercure Tbilisi Old Town and Swissôtel Tbilisi.

Created by the globally renowned Sundukovy Sisters design and architecture studio, the hotel’s interiors provide a welcoming and elegant atmosphere, with floral patterns, decorative elements and neutral tones. Swissôtel Tbilisi boasts a collection of 130 rooms, including various accommodation options such as Swiss Business Advantage, Deluxe King rooms and Presidential suites. The new property also includes the Swissôtel signature Vitality Room, a space designed to help guests maintain their mental and physical well-being while away from home.

The new hotel provides guests with different culinary experiences, such as Atmosphere, a seventh-floor high-rise restaurant and bar offering Asian cuisine and signature cocktails, Café Swiss for authentic Swiss delicacies, and Olives serving Mediterranean cuisine as well as a varied breakfast buffet in relaxing settings.

Other amenities include the signature Pürovel Spa & Sport, inspired by the changing Alpine seasons, as well as a fitness centre with a swimming pool, sauna and hammam.

Swissôtel Tbilisi also offers four fully equipped and versatile event spaces carefully designed to unlock creativity, optimise efficiency and sharpen focus. The hotel is located only 30 minutes away from Tbilisi International Airport, making it easier for international travellers visiting for business or leisure.

Guests staying at Swissôtel Tbilisi are welcome to enjoy a wide variety of rewards, services and experiences as part of ALL – Accor Live Limitless, the renowned loyalty programme that enhances the experience during and beyond each hotel stay.
