Cristina Doros Appointed as Vice-President to lead 17 Countries

Cristina Doros Appointed as Vice-President to lead 17 Countries

Visa has appointed Cristina Doros as Senior Vice President, and Group Country Manager for Visa in the CISSEE region. Cristina will lead Visa’s operations and strategy in 17 countries across Southern and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Ukraine, Moldova.

With over 20 years of experience at leading financial institutions, Cristina joined Visa in 2016 to lead regional Core Products team overseeing Core products (Debit, Credit and Premium), loyalty platform development, digital solutions, and push payments. In 2019-2021, Cristina took the role of Visa Regional Manager in the Caucasus, then continuing overseeing business in Central Asia.

With more than two decades of financial industry experience, including a nine-year tenure at Visa, Cristina’s seasoned leadership will help continue to accelerate payments innovation. Together with our outstanding local teams, Cristina will be instrumental in enabling market growth and advancing strategic public and private sector partnerships during the current time of tremendous progress and opportunity,” said Andrew Torre, President of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Visa.
