TBC Introduces the First Generative AI Chatbot in Georgia’s Banking Sector
TBC has launched the very first generative artificial intelligence chatbot in Georgia’s banking sector.
This innovative solution represents a breakthrough in customer–bank interactions, significantly enhancing communication quality, simplifying processes, and laying the groundwork for future technological development.
The project was a joint effort of TBC’s AI, digital development, and business operations teams, who worked closely together to create a tool that not only meets international standards but also reflects the unique needs of the Georgian market.
TBC’s ambition was not merely to introduce another technological novelty, but to fundamentally transform the customer experience and make everyday life simpler. Powered by generative AI, the chatbot can deeply analyze client inquiries and provide detailed answers on a wide range of financial topics. Continuously learning and evolving, the system expands its functionality over time, making it a true AI assistant for customers.
At this stage, the new generative chatbot is available on our website: https://tbcbank.ge/ka. In the near future, it will be integrated across all of TBC’s digital channels.
With this significant technological step, TBC once again reaffirms its role as a true leader in Georgia’s banking market—dynamic, bold, forward-thinking, and customer-centric.

Tasteit – TBC Business Award Winner for Best Innovative Product
If you walk into a trendy restaurant in Tokyo alone, chances are they’ll seat a giant plush toy next to you so you don’t feel the awkwardness of dining solo.
Sarah Jessica Parker’s character experienced the same in an episode of And Just Like That: in the middle of New York, at an Asian restaurant, Carrie Bradshaw was paired with an oversized teddy bear. After all, don’t Georgians also say, “We feel sorry for someone eating alone”?
Of course, dining with yourself is no tragedy. Nor does a dusty plush bear at a café table bring joy. The real issue is far deeper—and the facts are stubborn:
Loneliness has become so widespread that in 2023 the World Health Organization classified it as a global public health threat. Just two years later, researchers now openly speak of a “global loneliness pandemic.” Even artificial intelligence can’t invent the perfect pickup line to solve it. So, what could truly connect two complete strangers and give them something to talk about?
“Food,” answered then–Miami Ad School student Giorgi Urushadze three years ago. His idea first took shape in his mind and soon came alive in Georgia through a TV project. A few hours’ flight from Berlin to Tbilisi and a hastily assembled nine-page presentation were enough to impress investors. They committed the first ₾100,000, and Tasteit was born.
The app has two modes:
- Food Mode: discover dishes, offers, and like-minded foodies.
- Dine Mode: plan events and culinary adventures together.
So, if you crave a burger, khinkali, or even a soy cutlet as a vegan, you can find a companion within your chosen radius and share the meal. If food is the only thing you have in common—great. If there’s more, even better.
Naturally, some skeptics ask: “Why would I want to eat a burger with a stranger if I have friends or family?” No problem—Tasteit also helps you explore new dishes with the people you already know.
Today, the app counts 42,000 users across Tbilisi, New York, and Berlin, with an 11-member team working hard to refine it.
“No one can teach you or convince you if you don’t believe in your own idea. That’s what keeps me going. When I talk about Tasteit, I literally get chills. When I moved to Berlin, I knew from the start I wanted to create a Georgian startup,” Giorgi recalls. “On dates, I always tried too hard to be the ‘nice guy.’ With Tasteit, the focus is simply on food—and most conversations revolve around it.”
Currently, restaurants don’t pay to advertise their dishes on the app; instead, they pamper users with special offers. Tasteit generates revenue through brand partnerships and event organization, with premium features set to launch soon.
The Tasteit team also applied for the TBC Business Awards last year. This year, they not only made it to the finals but won the title of “Best Innovative Product of the Year.”
“We trust TBC. We knew the competition would be fair. I couldn’t attend the awards ceremony in person, but my friends surprised me by showing the trophy on camera. The emotions were overwhelming,” says Giorgi.
He is confident that the app has the potential to become a major player on the global stage. Recently, Tasteit joined META’s acceleration program—selected among 30 startups out of 800 applicants to receive mentorship from top industry experts.
The global loneliness pandemic may not be solved by a single app, but Tasteit is proving to be one of the most delightful ways to discover new flavors—and new people.

September–October Playbill
September 16, 20, 24 – “Amarcord”
A love letter to a world where people exist for each other—a reminder of how easily evil can take away the most precious things: freedom and happiness, which we share with one another.
September 17, 21 & October 4 – “The Nose”
Your name? Status? Influence? And what if one morning you discovered it was all taken away by someone else? You wake up without a nose. But the most disturbing part isn’t that it’s gone—it’s that it now belongs elsewhere. At your desk. In your clothes. Carrying your name, your influence, and more respect than you. What remains of a person when their own identity is no longer theirs?
September 18 – Premiere: “Intrigue and Love”
Can love truly exist in a world where the powerful use deceit to strengthen their influence? Where love must submit to hierarchy, becoming a tool rather than a choice? Is it possible to draw a line between love and intrigue in such a setting?
September 27 – “Tootsie”
Inspired by the film of the same name, but with the main focus on the love and sacrifice for the acting profession. A story of an actor’s countless thoughts, pains, emotions, and the self-imposed mission that drives daily struggle and dedication.
October 1 – “1921–1924”
Set against the backdrop of Georgia’s lost independence and Bolshevik repressions, the play tells of a generation robbed of its future, its dreams, and its very life—locked into a tragic, inescapable state for decades.
October 5 – “The Gas Station”
As life rushes forward uncontrollably, we often forget what truly matters. This play shares the intertwined stories of six strangers who, by fate, end up at a gas station. Forced to pause for a few hours amid their hectic lives, they are given a chance to rediscover one another.

The Beginning Is Near — Believe in Yourself
Every year, new young faces appear on the music stage, taking their very first steps toward success. At the start of this journey, support and encouragement mean more than anything.
Every great adventure begins with one small step—a step that takes courage, faith, and the strength we draw from those who stand beside us. For young musicians, that very first performance is the moment when it matters most who is by your side. These are the people who become your foundation and your strength for the future.
The beginning is near. What matters is believing in your own abilities, in your dreams, and in the path ahead—while always remembering who stands beside you.
At TBC, we believe that self-belief can make the impossible possible. Along the way, we often need people who help us discover our own strength. Sometimes, all it takes is an encouraging glance or a supportive word to spark the confidence to move forward with steady steps.
When your family, your friends, your supporters—and sometimes even complete strangers—believe in you, it gives you the certainty that you can achieve anything. The beginning is always near. All that matters is believing!
