The Saba Literary Prize has announced the finalists for its 2025 edition. Now in its 23rd year, the award continues to recognize both emerging and established voices in Georgian literature.
Founded in 2002 by TBC and poet Rati Amaglobeli, the Saba Prize has honored more than 150 authors, with over 200 prizes awarded and 5,000 books reviewed. It remains the country’s most influential recognition in the literary field.
This year, publishers and authors submitted around 250 books. Finalists have been revealed across seven main categories, with the shortlist for “Best Georgian Translation of a Foreign Work” to be published later in August.
