Tbilisi is the UNESCO World Book Capital and will maintain this status for one year.
The project brings together more than 70 educational, artistic, cognitive, and infrastructural activities aimed at promoting literacy, publishing, authors, translators, and other related professions.
A special place in the project is given to programs for children and adults: popularization of age literature, the opening of a children’s library, supply of school books with new books, as well as opening of a school of fairy tales.
As part of the project, activities, and programs for people with special needs are planned. Including the publication and distribution of audiobooks.
