Writers’ House of Georgia has reported that 6 publishers from France, Italy, a copyright manager, and a literature agent visited Tbilisi.

A special program was developed for the invited foreign publishers: meetings with Georgian authors, publishers, literary critics, representatives of partner organizations, a visit to the National Museum, a cultural tour in Old Tbilisi, and more.

The main goal of the literary forum-dialogue is to popularize Georgian literature abroad, which means increasing the awareness of Georgian authors internationally and selling the copyrights of their works, as well as promoting the translation process and thus the development of the Georgian publishing field.

The visit is organized by the Writers’ House with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia and Tbilisi Book World Capital.
