Georgia’s Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze will be publicly vaccinated today. The Minister is to get the AstraZeneca shot at Sachkhere Medical Center and meet with medical staff.
Tikaradze will arrive at the clinic at 14:30.
Previously, she claimed that she was giving up on her own dose of the vaccine for medical staff, however, the Minister has changed her decision and decided to vaccinate publicly instead.
Presently, based on the coronavirus vaccination data, more than 4,000 medical personnel have been vaccinated in the country.
The anti-coronavirus vaccine AstraZeneca arrived in Georgia on March 13, and the vaccination process started on March 15.
