Tbilisi City Court Judge Davit Tetrauli recognized Coalition for Change member Gela Khasaia as an administrative offender and sentenced him to 12 days of detention.
Khasaia was detained in the courtroom following an incident on March 31, when he was searched by law enforcement officers before a rally.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs charged him with disobedience to police under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
