The 11th Literary forum-dialogue will be held on July 6-9, Tbilisi-based Writer’s House reports.
7 publishers from France and Italy, a copyright manager, and a literary agent will visit Tbilisi.
To greet the invited foreign publishers, there is a special program planned: meetings with Georgian authors, publishers, literary critics, representatives of partner organizations, a visit to the National Museum, a cultural tour of Old Tbilisi, and more.
The main goal of the literary forum-dialogue is to popularize Georgian literature abroad, which means increasing international awareness of Georgian authors and selling the copyrights of their works, as well as promoting the translation process and thus the development of the Georgian publishing field.
