Georgia Reports 19,049 New Cases, 51 Deaths

Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 365 New Cases

19,049 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 51 people have died, and 18,409 people have recovered.

A total of 1,480,841 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,289,168 have recovered and 15,628 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

8 972 cases were confirmed in Tbilisi, Adjara – 1 317, Imereti – 2 854, Kvemo Kartli – 842, Shida Kartli – 970, Guria – 710, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 1 272, Kakheti – 1 229, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 446, Samtskhe -Javakheti – 307, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 130.

2,779,761 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

The head of the National Center for Disease Control, Amiran Gamkrelidze stated the number of coronavirus cases confirmed on 14 February, does not reflect the reality, because due to technical work on the portal, not all data has been uploaded. Therefore, the data published today include both Sunday and Monday cases.
