Print version Print version

Author: Liene Veide

The American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia (AmCham) together with the U.N. Global Compact will sign a memorandum of understanding tomorrow.

The signing ceremony will be Dec. 17 at 17:00.

The memorandum will schedule AmCham as the secretariat of the U.N. Global Compact in Georgia starting Jan. 1, 2010.

“AmCham is a member of the compact. They are well-organized and recognizable in the business sphere in Georgia,” UNDP Global Compact Project Manager and Senior Broker Heidi Eterovic told Georgia Today.

“It is very important for us to have a national organization which will be able to continue the compact’s work after we will leave,” she said.
