Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 298 New Cases, 3 Deaths

As of September 28, 298 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia and the number of infected people reached 5552.

The number of recoveries has increased by 148 and reached 2054.

5650 people are under mandatory quarantine and 836 under medical supervision in hospitals.

The number of people staying at so-called COVID hotels amounts to 800.

Three more coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in the country in the last 24 hours, a government-run special website reports. 

Accordingly, a total of 31 people have died from the virus.

Currently, there are 3467 active cases in Georgia.
